“In the face of an overwhelming tidal wave of bad news, what we need most right now are daily reminders of our better human selves, so that each of us can rise to this challenge. There are thousands of inspiring, creative community responses to this pandemic, and these stories must be told and widely shared. The emerging situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus and the many news reports around us are creating anxiety and worry for the future and our well-being. In times like these, it is especially important to remember God’s promise to be with us. He who made us, will not leave his children in this time of need. Let's not lose hope and keep focusing on how to be a better human being. Spread love and happiness to your fellow people. It'll all be over one day and This world will become a better place to live in.”
Kaki’s new song, Believe in God, is true to its name as a song about having hope in dark times and believing in God. The song is written and sung by Kaki, from India, and the amazing music for it is produced by The Won Theory, from The United Kingdom.
“I know this has been a time of uncertainty for everyone, but the silver lining is that it has forced everyone to slow down and given them that time that they might not have had in the past. I think now more than ever we should really take this time to reflect and focus on the things we really want in our lives. As an artist, I have had to get creative and find new ways to record from home, which I’ve done and have learned quite a bit! Such a great feeling of accomplishment.
So remember to do whatever it is you need to do to keep your mind busy and “find a way” to get things done if it’s really something that’s important to you! Sending hugs to everyone!”

“Sometimes in life we feel overwhelmed when our problems seem as tall as mountains. When I feel like that, I remind myself to live in the moment and let the emotions lead the way. That’s why I have a Nabla tattooed on my right forearm: to remind me every day to live for
For those who don't know, Nabla ∇ represents a gradient, which in Computer Science is the part of an equation that indicates the direction one step at a time.

As an artist, I think this period is an opportunity to be in a creative zone. We need to take care of things that we can control, and we can still make music, come up with ideas, and enjoy this phase. I have set up a lot of social distance online sessions with songwriters that I work with in other cities. I am happy that we have been forced to work this way, because it shows that it’s absolutely possible, and can be VERY productive. Sure, I love being with my other creatives in person - but this shows that we can figure this out and still move forward. I am fortunate that I am also a producer so I can truly do 100% of a project myself - so this “staying at home” thing is fine for me. But even if you need others - reach out to them. Share files, share ideas. I think there will be an explosion of AMAZING songs that comes out of all of this by many artists. We can do this!
